Sorry for the late post, I have been extremely busy and I have been in the process of replacing my laptop (again). I have some new stuff to post for ya’ll. I have some footage from when I was at Austin Music Hall for Skrillex and Pantyraid to be uploaded. Big ups to my good friends at Score More and V-Productions for hosting the show.

Sorry guys I’ve been extremely busy and haven’t been able to update this in a while but a quick recap of some stuff: I had a show in LA that was a lot of fun with White Panda. White Panda is an LA mashup dj. I played after White Panda and unfortunately got shut down during my set cause things got a bit too crazy; but not to worry, I have more dates lined up in LA and Orange County. I’ll keep you guys posted. I’ve been working on a remix and have a couple of collabs. coming up. It’s all hush hush right now but a possible collab. with XV is in the works as well as Shawn Chrystopher. Quick SXSW recap: the IMKING guys came out and we were supporting some of our artists. I was really impressed with Diz Gabran check him out he was performing with XV at the Lyricist Lounge. My website is getting redone as we speak and another Asia tour is in the works. Things will be hectic for a while but I’ll keep you guys updated as soon as I can.
What a crazy week it was. It started with the Steve Aoki show followed by the Wale show back to back at Republic Live. Famous Vodka sponsored the Steve Aoki show and shout outs go to Toddy B, Exceed, Digg, and Prepmode. Mike Abb from Abboriginal productions was present at both shows to take down some legit footage so be sure to check out his site. The Austin music culture is amazing ( hailed the live music capitol of the world) it’s a melting pot of every genre of all different kinds of good music. It seems like you can catch a great show any day of the week out here.
Which brings me to South by Southwest (SXSW) coming up. We are throwing a Hip Hop Showcase bringing back Wale, Shawn Chrystopher (IMKING), alongside Mike Posner, Bub B, and Kevin Jack (ScoreMoreATX) at Aces Lounge. It is going to be dopeeee! The IMKING fam will also be coming out here to support 12th Planet . If SXSW is anything like it was the last 2 years I can only imagine the musical goodness and wild shenanigans it’s going to bring out this year. The highlight of SXSW last year was hanging with Boys Noize, D.I.M, and Shadow Dancer at the Boys Noize Record party. I would definitely check out Boys Noize’s Oi Oi Oi album, Shadow Dancer’s Golden Traxe album, and D.I.M’s new track lyposuct. Electro not your thing? Go check out the free show with Common, Kanye West, with Erykah Baduh. Hip Hop not your thing? Go check out (fill in with amazing musician, singer, band, songwriter here), chances are they will be playing.
We have plenty of other shows coming up before SXSX though, Chiddy Bang, Slightly Stoopid w/ Del the Funky Homosapien, Clipse and a few unannounced artists so check back. Last but not least I’m going to be returning to spin in California the first weekend of March.

I’m still recovering from a crazy weekend in Vegas. I was hanging with this man pictured below, DJ Vice, at his Sunday night residency at Lavo. Don’t be fooled he really is a huge fan of patron, ughhhh. He is known as one of the top, if not THE top club DJ in the US right now with residencies in LA/NY/Vegas and a few international spots. If you have a chance to go see him spin at a club go do it. He is also a class guy, thanks for taking care of me in Vegas Vice!
I’m nearing the end of my crazy time in California and I’m going to be heading back to Austin to spin with Steve Aoki at Republic Live February 11th.

Steve Aoki founder of DIM MAK records and L.A native will be coming out to Austin to invade my residency Hype Thursday. It’ll be the first event to kick off the new year thrown by Score More at Republic Live February 11th. It will be an absolutely crazy show and I’m excited. You may have heard of his track Warp, a collaboration between him and the Bloody Beetroots.
Also this next Monday i’ll be djing at the grand opening of the new Avec nightclub. Be there!
First and foremost, I have to make a shout out to my team The Longhorns for making it to the national championship. Shout out to Sam Acho, Dan Buckner, Antwan Cobb, and Trey Newton, I’ll see you guys at the game.
Alright I survived a crazy week with the high point being the Del tha Funky Homosapien Show. It was a lot of fun, I got to hang out with some straight classy people. Shout out to Bukue1 and Zach Hendricks, I have mad love for them and I can’t wait till they hit Austin again. I’m back in California taking a little relaxing break and working on my mixtape before I gear up for a crazy year. I have some stuff lined up for 2010 and I can’t say anything yet but all I can say is it’s going to be a good year. This Saturday i’ll be djing @ Shark Club with MTV’s Fantasy Factory taking over with a performance by Chanel.
Next week I’ll be djing at the brand new Avec nightclub. Keep posted, the next few weeks should be a lot of fun.
This week is going to be intense. I have to finish a ton of work before I head back to CA this weekend. I am starting up a new residency and have some unannounced gigs so keep posted. I am also working on a new mixtape so be sure to check back. It looks like there is a good possibility I might be doing another tour in Asia soon which I’m really pumped for because I def. did not touch all the places I wanted to go.

Score More has been nothing less than incredible taking over the Austin scene one show at at time. They have been throwing shows at Aces Lounge (where Hype Thursdays holds its residency) and have been consistently tearing down the house. I played at the Glitch Mob show they threw and it was one of the best crowds and definitely one of the most fun shows I’ve played. They have Del Tha Funky Homosapien, Steven & Julian Marley, Wiz Khalifa, and a grip of other amazing shows coming up. You won’t be disappointed at any of their shows, you don’t have to take my word for it, you can check the line whenever Score More is throwing something at Aces. Here is a recent interview of my good friend, manager, and founder of Score More, Sascha Guttfreund. You will be definitely seeing more of us in the future.
I know this is way way way overdue but I had to make a tribute to DJ AM. He was definitely one of my inspirations as a DJ and for all the readers that don’t know about him (I don’t know how you wouldn’t) it’s time for me to inspire you. The video definitely doesn’t do him any justice of how he is live and it’s sad that we’ll never get a chance to see him play again.

I am currently working on a bunch of different projects but one of them is a collaboration with a sick drummer named Matt Moreno from Artesia, NM. The possibilities with working with a drummer are endless because most tracks that I play have some form of a beat so you can cross all different genres and allow for a more creative way of playing and indulging the musical senses. All I have to say on this matter is I’m super excited because Matty gets down. Be on the lookout for the Hype!

I’m also going to be heading back to California for Halloween and I’m pumped because sooo many crazy things are going on, Hard Haunted Mansion, Monster Massive, Playboy Mansion, Playboy Party in SD just to name a few and I’m going to be spending some time with a good friend in Malibu so I’ll be in LA for most of the time, which should pan out to be a really good weekend.

Alright I have some exciting news for the upcoming months but I can’t unveil them quite yet so check back. I can’t say anymore on the matter except I’m really excited at the prospects. I just got back from California and each time I go makes me miss it even more. I played at my monthly residency Shark Club and I always love playing to a familiar crowd. I got to stop by my sponsor and pick up some stuff from their new fall line. It’s crazy how big they’ve gotten so fast. 50 cent, Lil Wayne, T-pain, Brittney Spears are a few people who rep their stuff. Check their site out on the link on the right. In other news I finally picked up my new laptop! It is such a huge pain in the ass to reinstall everything and all my production software but it’s better than having nothing. Now that I have a working laptop again I am going to be focusing a lot of time in the studio and producing versus traveling and playing.
And last but not least a big thanks goes out to Fred for hooking it up with the Loft and the complimentary gifts. The huge blinds and drapes open and close at the push of the button to open up the balcony. It was pretty ridiculous, that guy is class.
